1958: The factory was established in September with the name "Taihu Steel Factory". In December, the "Beitang Internal Combustion Engine Factory" was established, mainly producing 45-horsepower diesel engines. 1959: Successful trial production. The Beitang Internal Combustion Engine Factory was transferred to the Geology Department and renamed "Geology Department Wuxi Diesel Engine Accessories Factory". 1964: It was renamed "Geology Department Wuxi Drilling Tools Factory". From then on, the company began to focus on the production of drilling tools as its main business.
1981: Our company's helical diamond reaming tool was awarded the "National Silver Award" for quality. During this period, significant progress was made in areas such as helical drilling tools, drill pipes, diamond drill bits, helical reaming tools, and magnetic fishing tools. 1987: China Geotechnical Equipment Group Co., Ltd. was established, and our company became one of its subordinate enterprises.
1990: The company was rated as a "National Second-Class Enterprise", and the rope core drilling tool it produced was rated as a high-quality product by the Geotechnical Department. 1998: China Geotechnical Equipment Group Co., Ltd. joined the Fortune Global 500 company Chinese Machinery Industry Group Co., Ltd., and our company became a third-level subsidiary of the international group.
2001: Obtained ISO9001:2000 quality system certification 2008: Moved to Huishan Economic Development Zone, built standardized workshops and office buildings, replaced new production equipment, and officially entered modern production, laying the foundation for the further development and improvement of drilling length; in September of the same year, the 50th anniversary celebration of the factory was held.
2009 - 2010: As the organizing unit and participant representative of the Geological Core Drilling Drilling Tools Seminar hosted by the Geological and Mining Equipment Branch of the China Mining Association, our company was involved in the formulation and revision of the standards for geological core drilling tools, which played a positive role in regulating the market and promoting the development of the industry.
2011: The research results of the project that the company was involved in as part of the "11th Five-Year" national major project - high-strength wire rope core drill pipe - were widely applied in deep hole exploration construction projects and won the National Science and Technology Progress Award. It was rated as a high-tech enterprise 2012: The enterprise successfully obtained the Jiangsu Province Major Science and Technology Transformation Special Fund Project named "Research and Industrialization of High Efficiency, High Strength and Wear-resistant Drill Pipe and Drill Tools", and successfully applied for the Jiangsu Province Major Science and Technology Transformation Special Fund Project
2014: Received the "Top Talent Innovation Team" project support funds from Jiangsu Province
2015: The 2000m within full hydraulic geological core drilling equipment and key appliances (research and development) won the "National Science and Technology Progress Award" ( "Land Resources Science and Technology Award" first prize) 2016: Obtained the OHSAS18000 occupational health and safety management system certification; won the "National Science and Technology Progress Award" again.
2017: The special deep hole geological core drilling machine tool with high efficiency and high strength won the "First Prize of Wuxi Science and Technology Progress Award" 2018: The key technologies and engineering applications of drilling tools protection and durability were awarded the "Second Prize of Land Resources Science and Technology Award"
2019: Conducted brand integration construction, the new LOGO logo of "Guoli Group" was officially launched and renamed as CGE Group (Wuxi) Drilling Tools Co., Ltd.
2024: The enterprise actively embraced intelligent manufacturing technology, successively introduced automated production lines, and continuously contributed to the geological equipment industry with high-quality development 2025: The company introduced a batch of advanced automated production and testing equipment, continuously innovated, improved product performance, and demonstrated "Made in China" in the international market, contributing "National Team" strength to the "New Round of Mineral Prospecting Breakthrough Strategy Action".
1. We have been strictly controlled the quality of our raw materials, and all of our steel metals are from famous steel mills (factories). And physical metallographic analysis and chemical composition test are also used to ensure the quality of raw materials.
2. Immediate inspection will be done for each production procedure, and full examination will be implemented for threaded products.
3. Our outsourcing products will also be strictly examined before utilization.
4. Our sampling rate for final products is higher than 30%.
