1. Integrated Monolithic Upset Structure
The rod body and connecting end are integrally hot forged and upset without welding splicing. The upset end is locally thickened and reinforced with smooth and uniform wall thickness transition, eliminating stress concentration and weld cracking defects of traditional welded drill rods. The flat inner wall ensures smooth drilling fluid flow and lower disassembly resistance of matched drilling tools.
2. ZT950 High-grade Special Base Material
Made of quenched and tempered ZT950 alloy seamless steel with yield strength ≥950MPa. Its torsion resistance, compression resistance, impact resistance and fatigue resistance are far better than ordinary geological drilling pipes. It is anti-bending, anti-distortion and anti-fracture during 1400m medium-shallow drilling, adapting to long-term construction in weathered rock, sandstone and ordinary hard rock complex strata.
3. Precise Tolerance & Stable Operation
Strict precision machining tolerance for upset section perfectly matches supporting locking threads, with tight joint fit and excellent sealing performance, no leakage and pressure relief of high-pressure flushing fluid. Optimized gradient wall thickness structure disperses alternating stress of rod body, ensures stable torque transmission at rated 1400m depth, and reduces thread wear, galling and uncoupling faults.
4. Flexible Selection of Multiple Lengths
1.5m short rods are applicable for mine tunnels and confined construction sites; 2m and 3m long rods match large and medium-sized surface drilling rigs, reduce drill rod joint times, shorten assembly time, improve overall drilling efficiency and cut joint consumption and maintenance cost.
