It is specially developed for deep mineral exploration and deep geological coring, with maximum recommended drilling depth of 1900 meters.
Different from ordinary NQ and RNQ drill rods, NRQ has comprehensive upgrades in wall thickness, raw material, heat treatment and thread reinforcement. It balances ultra-high tensile & torsional strength and high body toughness, suitable for 1600-1900m straight deep holes, high-inclination holes, fractured hard rock and complex structural formations. It solves common defects including thread fracture, tooth collapse and pipe bending fatigue fracture, fully compatible with all NQ wireline coring accessories.

1. Extended both-end tempering, suitable for 1900m ultra-long drill string
Conventional NQ/RNQ drill rods are only suitable for drilling depth within 1300m. NRQ adopts extended tempered zone and reinforced thread structure, bearing dead weight and super-large rotary torque of 1900m drill string, greatly improving thread fatigue life and avoiding sudden rod breakage in deep hole drilling.
2. 70.1*5mm optimized structure, balance strength and water passing efficiency
5mm optimized thickened wall improves overall load-bearing capacity. Large inner bore ensures sufficient flushing fluid flow, fast cuttings discharge and efficient diamond bit cooling, improving deep hole drilling efficiency.
3. Rigidity-toughness balanced design, adapt to complex deep formations
Hardened rod ends and tough pipe body resist strong cutting torque of deep hard rock, and buffer bending impact of inclined holes and fractured zones. No pipe bending or fatigue fracture during 1900m deep hole construction.
4. Universal NQ thread, zero accessory replacement cost
Fully interchangeable with all mainstream NQ wireline coring tools on the market. Original core barrel, overshot, diamond bit and reaming shell can be matched directly. New NRQ and old NQ rods can be used mixedly to save project cost.

Adopt composite nitriding thread treatment, anti-rust and anti-seize in mineralized groundwater and acidic mud. Easy breakout after long-term shutdown, reduce downhole stuck risk and construction loss.
