Description

PQ reaming shell is a large-diameter standard diamond reaming tool in the Q series rope core extraction system. It has the largest diameter, the largest displacement, and the largest core extraction diameter. It is specifically designed for medium-deep to deep holes (≤ 2000m), medium-hard to hard rocks, large-diameter core extraction, and water exploration / water wells / mine tunnel connection holes.
Installed between the PQ drill bit and the outer core tube, it performs four core functions: maintaining the diameter of the large bore, providing strong support, stabilizing the bore wall, and protecting the outer tube. It is the main tool for large-diameter geological exploration, hydrological drilling, and mining engineering.

Structure and Materials (Large Diameter Reinforced Design)


1. Heavy-duty High-Strength Base: 40CrNiMo alloy steel forged, thickened tube wall, strong resistance to torsion / vibration / deformation, suitable for large-diameter high-load, high-torque working conditions.


2. Large-Diameter Wear-Resistant Mat: Coarse-grained tungsten carbide + high-toughness bonding phase, with a temperature resistance of 1100℃, suitable for medium-hard to hard rocks, strong grinding strata, and the mat is less likely to crack.


3. Diamond Working Layer (Suitable for Large Diameter):


* Inlaid Natural Diamond (Common): Medium-hard rocks, complete strata, fast advancement, smooth chip removal, moderate cost, high efficiency for large-diameter applications.


* Inlaid Diamond (Preferred for Hard Rocks): Hard rocks, crushed / strong grinding strata, long lifespan, good stability, the preferred choice for deep holes and large-diameter applications.


* PCD Composite Sheet (Strengthened Type): Extremely hard rocks, strong grinding layer, strong resistance to impact and wear, lifespan increased by 40%+.


* Large Flow Rate Spiral Water Channel: 4–5 spiral edges + widened and deepened water channel + large angle, water flow rate increases by 40%, chip removal is smooth, resistance reduction by 35%+, strong anti-blockage core and anti-mud packing ability for large-diameter applications.
