Description
NQ Loading Chamber is a professional hydraulic wireline coring accessory manufactured by SINOMACH Group, fully compliant with international DCDMA standards, perfectly matched with complete NQ series drilling tools including wireline drill rods, water swivels and overshots.
Overshot can be lowered by gravity in vertical boreholes, while horizontal and upward inclined underground boreholes cannot feed overshot by self-weight. This loading chamber injects high-pressure drilling fluid to hydraulically push the overshot down the drill string to latch and retrieve core barrel. It is an essential tool for shallow & medium underground mine exploration and tunnel advance geological coring.
Structural Composition
1. Bottom Standard NQ Male Taper Thread
Strictly follows DCDMA NQ taper thread specification, directly connects to the top of NQ wireline drill rod. Multi-ring knurled outer surface enables easy assembly and disassembly, universal interchangeable with all brands of NQ drilling tools.
2. Integrated Forged High-Pressure Main Housing
One-piece forged seamless pressure-resistant hollow body to bear hydraulic thrust. Side integrated grease & pressure relief nipple realizes cavity pressure release and internal seal lubrication maintenance.
3. Side Female Thread High-Pressure Water Inlet Port
Large-bore standard internal thread connector for mud pump high-pressure delivery hose, continuously conveying flushing fluid to generate downward hydraulic thrust for overshot delivery.
4. Top Locking & Sealing Assembly
* Anti-slip knurled locking knob: Rotates to compress internal sealing components, locking tightly to prevent mud leakage and pressure loss during drilling.
* Forged brass guide nipple: Smooth brass contact surface drastically reduces abrasion on steel wire rope, anti-corrosion and avoids wire scratching.
Core Product Advantages
1. Full Compatibility with Complete NQ Wireline Tool Series
Matches NQ wireline drill rods, NQ double-tube core barrels, NQ overshots and NQ water swivels perfectly, no modification required for existing drilling rig equipment.
2. One-Piece Forged Housing, Stable High-Pressure Sealing
Seamless integral forging eliminates leakage risk, rated working pressure ≤8MPa, max instantaneous peak pressure up to 10MPa. Multi-layer composite seals ensure zero mud seepage during long-hour continuous drilling.
3. Brass Wire Rope Protection, Lower Site Consumable Cost
Smooth brass top guide minimizes steel wire abrasion, extends service life of wire rope and overshot, reducing frequent replacement cost on construction site.
4. Solve Construction Pain Points of Horizontal & Upward Boreholes
Hydraulic feeding design overcomes the difficulty of gravity feeding overshot in underground mines and tunnel horizontal holes, greatly improving coring efficiency for shallow & medium boreholes.
5. Multi-Functional Relief Grease Nipple, Easy Maintenance
Integrated side nipple releases internal pressure after operation and injects grease to lubricate seals daily; modular split design enables separate replacement of oil seals and brass guide nipple, single operator can finish disassembly and maintenance quickly.
6. Reliable SINOMACH State-Owned Enterprise Quality
SINOMACH Group owns over 60 years of R&D and manufacturing experience in drilling tools, strict state-owned enterprise quality control. Factory NDT test reports and full set of qualification documents are available, trusted by global geological and tunnel engineering contractors.
Operation & Maintenance Instructions
1. Installation: Tighten the bottom NQ male taper thread onto drill rod top, connect mud pump high-pressure delivery hose to side inlet port.
2. Overshot Feeding Operation: Loosen top locking knob, insert NQ overshot assembly, tighten brass sealing nipple, start mud pump to hydraulically push overshot down to borehole bottom to catch inner core barrel.
3. Overshot Retrieval: Shut down mud pump, release internal cavity pressure via side grease nipple, loosen top knob and pull wire rope to lift overshot out.
4. Daily Maintenance: Flush residual mud inside cavity with clean water after every shift, store in dry environment to prevent rust; inject lubricating grease from nipple before each shift, regularly disassemble and replace aging oil seals, coat thread with special lubricating grease to avoid thread seizure.
