NQ3/ HQ3/ PQ3 Q3 Series Core Barrel Assembly

The Q3 series is an upgraded international standard three-tube rope retrieval core drilling tool for the Q series. It comes in three specifications: NQ3, HQ3, and PQ3. It adopts a three-tube structure consisting of an outer tube, an inner tube, and a detachable inner liner. By using the rope to retrieve the inner tube, the core can be retrieved, and there is no need to lift the drill rod. The core retrieval rate can reach over 98%. This product is specifically designed for complex formations such as those with fragmentation, softness, coal seams, and strong weathering. It balances the high fidelity of the core and the high efficiency of the operation. It can be adapted to drilling conditions ranging from 600 meters to 3000 meters and is the core equipment for dealing with core retrieval operations in complex formations in coal mining, metal mining, energy exploration, and various engineering survey projects.

Core drilling tool: It is a double-tube assembly, without drill bit or reamer.

Core drilling tool (head): Does not include inner and outer tubes, locking guard, locking chamber, locking spring, locking spring seat, centering ring, and seat ring.

1. Outer Tube Assembly: Transmits torque / drilling pressure, protects the bore wall; includes diamond drill bit, reaming tool, outer tube, and locking mechanism.

2. Inner Tube Assembly (Single Action + Vibration Reduction): Allows core extraction without rotation, reducing core disturbance; equipped with position indicator / core blocking signal.

3. Inner Liner Tube (Core): Made of PVC / metal material, detachable, fully wraps the core throughout the process, allowing the inner liner tube to be removed directly after core extraction, ensuring zero core drop and zero disturbance.

4. Retrieval Device: Uses rope to quickly capture the inner tube assembly, eliminating the need to lift the drill pipe.

5. High-Strength Drill Rod: 42MnMoB/ZT850 alloy, both ends thickened and quenched, straightness ≤ 1:3000, concentricity ≤ 0.3mm.

1. Triple high-fidelity: The inner liner tube fully wraps around, the rate of core extraction from hard/soft formations ≥ 98%, and the integrity of the core is 100%.

2. Suitable for difficult formations: Specifically designed for coal seams, clay, strongly weathered, and loose sand layers where double-tube core extraction is difficult.

3. Efficiency and safety: Without extracting cores, the efficiency is increased by 3-5 times; there are fewer vulnerable parts, the structure is stable, and the risk of accidents in the borehole is reduced.

4. Easy core storage: The inner liner tube can directly serve as a core storage container, avoiding loss during transportation, and providing more accurate geological data.

● Medium-depth holes (600–1500m) + Medium fragmentation: Choose NQ3, balancing efficiency and core quality.

● Deep holes (1500–2000m) + Strong fragmentation / Soft rock: Choose HQ3, high strength + high core extraction rate.

● Ultra-deep holes (2000–3000m) + Extremely soft / Loose: Choose PQ3, large diameter + inner lining protection, the first choice for deep exploration.
