Description

With pipe body size Φ114.3×5.5mm, it adopts ZT950 high-grade drilling alloy steel, adopting dual process of both ends hot upset forging thickening + medium-frequency sectional tempering. It is specially designed for 2300m maximum depth large-bore deep mineral exploration, geothermal well drilling and deep geological scientific coring.
Different from ordinary PH standard drill rods, PHDA adopts integrated large-size rod-end hot upset forging and double heat treatment reinforcement, with thickened thread base and upgraded overall structural strength. It has full optimization on material density, large pipe rigidity, rod-end structure and thread anti-corrosion performance. Balancing ultra-high torsion resistance and pipe body toughness, it fits 2000-2300m large-bore deep holes, high-inclination holes, hard rock and fractured water-rich formations. It solves large diameter rod failures including base tear, thread collapse and body deformation, fully compatible with all PH wireline coring accessories.

1. Upset & tempering dual process, fit for 2300m large-bore ultra-deep drill string
Conventional PH drill rods own poor anti-fatigue performance for deep holes. PHDA adopts thickened upset base and upgraded tempering zone, improves joint bearing capacity greatly, bears dead weight and high rotary torque of 2300m drill string, avoids joint and thread failure.
2. 114.3*5.5mm balanced wall structure, balance rigidity and water passing efficiency
Optimized 5.5mm wall thickness improves large pipe deformation resistance; extra-large inner bore boosts flushing fluid flow, accelerates cuttings discharge and diamond bit cooling, improves deep hole coring efficiency.
3. Integrated upset base reinforcement, eliminate large pipe fracture defect
Integrated hot upset forging thickens joint base, optimizes stress transition zone, relieves underground alternating load impact, solves transition section breakage pain point of large-diameter drill rods.
4. Universal PH standard thread, zero accessory replacement cost
100% compliant with DCDMA PH standard thread, compatible with all PH wireline coring parts. Original core barrel, overshot and reaming shell can be used directly, saving project equipment cost.
5. Hardened thread surface, anti-corrosion & anti-galling for deep well
Double nitriding & phosphating thread treatment resists mineralized groundwater and acidic mud corrosion. Stable anti-seize performance, easy breakout after long downhole placement, reduce deep hole drilling downtime loss.
