BTW/ NTW/ HTW Thin Wall Series Core Barrel
The TW series rope core drilling tools are internationally standard thin-walled rope core drilling tools, available in three specifications: BTW/NTW/HTW. They feature a thin-walled drill pipe combined with a small cutting surface drill bit design. They do not require lifting the drill pipe or the inner pipe for fishing and core extraction. Compared to the standard Q series, they are 20%–30% more efficient, lighter in weight, and have less torque. They are suitable for portable drilling rigs and **deep and medium-depth (≤2000m)** exploration. They are the preferred equipment for efficient drilling in shallow and deep wells and green exploration.

Description
The TW series is an internationally used thin-wall wireline core drilling tool, available in BTW, NTW and HTW specifications. Featuring thin-wall drill rods and bits with small cutting area, it enables core retrieval by wireline without pulling out the drill string. Compared with standard Q-series tools, it delivers 20% to 30% higher drilling efficiency, lighter weight and lower torque. Ideal for portable drilling rigs and medium-deep holes within 2000 meters, this lightweight and high-efficiency product is easy to transport, and serves as the optimal choice for high-speed drilling and eco-friendly exploration in coal measures, metal mineral prospecting and engineering investigation.
Core drilling tool: It is a double-tube assembly, without drill bit or reamer.
Core drilling tool (head): Does not include inner and outer tubes, locking guard, locking chamber, locking spring, locking spring seat, centering ring, and seat ring.

4. Standard double-tube assembly: Single-action inner pipe + vibration reduction + position reporting, core extraction does not rotate, core extraction rate ≥ 90%, compatible with Q series fishing tools.
5. High-precision threads: Sealing pressure resistance ≥ 20MPa, strong torsion resistance, easy control of deep hole hole deviation and good stability.

● Deep holes (1200–2000m) + Medium-hard rock: Choose HTW, large diameter + high strength.
